 Workplace Audiometry Course

The aim of the 2 day course, is to familiarise participants with the requirements and regulations for setting up and running a workplace (pre placement and screening) audiometry program. It also gives participants a greater knowledge in interpretation and appropriate referral of hearing impaired employees.

This course meets the WorkCover Codes of Practices for Noise Management and Protection of Hearing at Work. 

Who Should Attend
This course is designed as training for those aiming to conduct pre-placement and screening audiometry programs within the workplace. It is not limited to, but should be considered by: Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Occupational Health Nurses, Health & Safety Officers, Occupational First Aiders, and personnel responsible for OH&S in the workplace.

A 'certificate of successful completion' is issued to participants who successfully complete the course and examination.

Our audiologist has a Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Audiology, with over ten years experience as a clinical audiologist with particular interests in noise management and training. With his combination of experience and qualifications, he is able to provide a unique insight into the assessment and measurement of noise in a variety of industrial settings and provide training across a wide degree of subjects.
